London Marathon 2026 

Here’s your chance to apply to run our first-ever London Marathon for Green Hub. We have just ONE place up for grabs, and so we are looking for someone who has this down on their list of ‘must dos’ in 2026. 

By running the marathon for us, you’ll be doing something amazing to support young people in Waverley & Surrey who are struggling with their mental health  – we’ll be beside you every step of the way. You’ll be supported by the amazing Jules Scudding from Running Rewire, who will help you plan your training and motivate you along the way. 

Team Green Hub will also be behind you throughout the journey – one of the benefits of being a small charity is that this is a really big deal for us and we can really add a personal touch and properly support people.

Application deadline … 

• You need to apply by midnight on 31st October 2025. The successful applicant will be notified by 7th November 2025.

What you’ll be committing to …

• We are asking our candidate to commit to raising a minimum of £3000 for Green Hub. If this is a ‘bucket list’ event for you, so should have no problem in getting your supporters behind you to achieve this lifetime goal. In addition, you may be eligible for match-funding from your employer – always worth checking. It’s worth checking the Ts & Cs on this (below).
• We are asking you to pay a £100 registration fee, payable if you are successful in being awarded this place. It’s non refundable – and worth saying that it has already cost Green Hub £500 securing this place for you, meaning that we are heavily subsidising your entry.
