Last night Green Hub’s Co-founder and Chair, Vanessa Lanham-Day, accepted an award for Green Hub as Small Business of the Year, at the South East Dymamic Awards 2026 event held at The Grand Hotel in Brighton.

Vanessa decided to enter Green Hub into the awards believing that our ‘not for profit’ business has a great story to tell. We were delighted to hear we had been shortlisted and, last night, Trustee, Anthea Cooke and Vanessa Lanham-Day were pleased to represent Green Hub in person to see how well we had done.

Maarten Hoffmann, Event Organiser and Managing Director of Platinum Media Group Ltd, said: “Every year, we are inspired by the extraordinary calibre of women entering these awards. The judging panel faced an incredibly difficult task, reflecting the exceptional quality of this year’s entries. We are immensely proud of all our finalists and winners”.

The Small Business category was sponsored by MDHUB, whose MD, Fiona Shafer led the judging and also presented the award, alongside comedienne Jo Caulfield. Announcing the award, she especially praised Green Hub’s strong sense of community, and the highly structured systems and processes sitting behind the work that we do.

Accepting the award, Vanessa said; “In the last 5 years, 80 amazing people have joined us on our incredible journey, and this award is for them.”

Everyone at Green Hub is very proud of our collective achievement today.
